📚 Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- A three-year full-time Diploma in any of the following disciplines:
- Electrical
- Electronics
- Instrumentation
- Mechanical
- Production
- Metallurgical
These diplomas must be obtained from an institution recognized by AICTE or UGC.
Additionally, diploma holders from:
- R D Tata Technical Education Centre, Jamshedpur
- J N Tata Technical Education Centre, Gopalpur
- Tata Steel Technical Institute, Burmamines
are also eligible to apply.
❌ Not Eligible: Candidates with part-time, correspondence, or distance learning qualifications.
🛠️ Mandatory Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a Steel Manufacturing Plant or Electric Arc Furnace Plant as of 1st May 2025, post-diploma certification.
🧾 Marks Criteria
- General Candidates: Minimum 55% aggregate marks in Diploma Engineering.
- SC/ST/Female/Transgender/PwD Candidates: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Diploma Engineering.
🎂 Age Limit
- General Candidates: Born on or after 1st May 1993.
- SC/ST/Female/Transgender/PwD Candidates: Born on or after 1st May 1990.
💸 Salary and Emoluments
- Starting Basic Salary: ₹13,500/month
- CTC: Approximately ₹5.06 LPA
- The position offered is Jr. Engineer I (NL-D grade).
- Additional benefits are provided as per TATA Steel’s HR policies.
- Candidates with 4 or more years of experience may receive higher compensation.
🌍 Domicile
- Candidates across India are eligible.
- Preference will be given to candidates from Punjab.
📝 Selection Procedure
- Written Test and Interview (each stage is eliminatory).
- Employees from Tata Group or subsidiaries must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the interview.
