Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligibility:
- Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Must belong to the SC, ST, or OBC category.
- Must be studying from Class 9 up to post-graduation and PhD.
- Annual family income should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh for SC/ST and INR 1 Lakh for OBC.
For Pre-Matric (SC/ST Students):
- Must be studying in Class 9 or 10
- Must belong to SC/ST category
- Annual family income should not exceed ₹2,00,000
For Post-Matric (SC/ST/OBC Students):
- Must be pursuing Class 11 to postgraduate level education in a recognized institution
- Must belong to SC/ST/OBC category
- Annual family income should not exceed:
- ₹2.5 lakh for SC/ST
- ₹1 lakh for OBC

Selection Process

- Then scrutinized by the Block/ Municipality Welfare Officer
- Final sanction is done by the District Welfare Officer
