RRB Section Controller Recruitment 2025: The Government of India, Ministry of Railways, through the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), has released the Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 04/2025 for the recruitment of Section Controllers across various zones. Eligible candidates are invited to apply online within the stipulated dates.

Vacancy Details

• Post Name: Section Controller
• Total Vacancies: 368 (Tentative)
• Participating RRBs: Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Jammu Srinagar, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Prayagraj, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri, Bengaluru, Gorakhpur, Thiruvananthapuram.

Pay Scale

• Pay Level: Level 6 as per 7th CPC
• Initial Pay: ₹35,400/- per month
• Other Benefits: DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, Pension, Medical facilities, and other allowances as per Railway norms.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline) from a recognized university/institute.
• Additional technical/railway-related qualifications (if mentioned in detailed notification) will be considered an advantage.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years
• Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules (SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years).

Medical Standard

• Candidates must meet A2 Medical Standard requirements as per Indian Railways norms.

Selection Procedure

The selection process will include:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) – Objective type questions.
2. Document Verification.
3. Medical Examination (A2 Standard).

Final merit will be based on CBT performance and subject to medical fitness.

• Candidates are advised to keep Aadhaar details updated for verification during the application.
• Ensure that Name and Date of Birth in Aadhaar matches 100% with Class 10 certificate.
