Indian Oil Recruitment 2025: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Maharatna PSU and India’s flagship national oil company, has announced recruitment for Junior Engineers/Officers (Grade E0) through a Computer Based Test (CBT). The notification invites applications from eligible Diploma Engineers across multiple disciplines for placement across India.

Educational Qualification

• Full-time 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum Marks:
• General/EWS/OBC-NCL: 65%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 55%
• Diploma must be recognized by AICTE/UGC/State Boards.
• Higher qualifications like B.E./B.Tech/MBA/CA/CS/CMA/MCA/Ph.D. are not eligible

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

• General/EWS: Maximum 26 years
• OBC-NCL: Maximum 29 years
• SC/ST: Maximum 31 years
• PwBD: Additional 10 years relaxation
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules

Salary & Benefits

• Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000
• Starting Basic Pay: ₹30,000 per month
• Approx. Annual Package: ₹10.6 lakhs (including allowances & PRP)
• Benefits: HRA/Company housing, medical facilities, gratuity, PF, insurance, LTC, superannuation benefits, PRP etc.

Bond Requirement

• Selected candidates must sign a service bond for 3 years:
• General: ₹2,00,000
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD: ₹35,000

Selection Procedure

1. Computer Based Test (CBT):
• 100 MCQs (Domain Knowledge – 50, Quantitative Aptitude – 20, Logical Reasoning – 15, English – 15).
• Duration: 150 minutes
• Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer.
• Qualifying Marks:
• UR/EWS/OBC: 45% overall (40% per section)
• SC/ST: 40% overall (35% per section)
• PwBD: 30% overall (25% per section)
2. Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT): 5% weightage
3. Personal Interview (PI): 10% weightage
4. Final Merit List: Based on composite score
