Post Details
- Post Name: Director, DIA-CoE, IIT Jodhpur
- Type: Full-time position
- Tenure: Initial 3 years, extendable by 2 years based on performance; can be terminated by either party with 3 months’ notice.
Educational Qualifications
Essential:
- Doctoral degree in Science OR Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in the relevant field.
Desirable:
- Extensive experience in research, collaborative projects, setting up large research facilities, strategic planning, and technology transfer.
- Demonstrated expertise in Desert Warfare Technology, Futuristic Omni Mobility Vehicles, AI for Information Warfare, Wargaming Technologies, or related defence systems.
- Proven record in publications, patents, Ph.D. supervision, lab development, and professional contributions.
- Experience in both academic and industry-oriented R&D, preferably in defence-related domains.
Age Limit
- Below 62 years as on the closing date (28 August 2025).
Remuneration
- For Retired Central/State Govt. Employees:
- OPS: Last drawn salary – basic pension (as per DoE guidelines).
- NPS: Last basic pay – 30% of last basic pay (as per DoE guidelines).
- For Non-Govt. Employees: ₹1,75,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month (based on experience).
- Additional incentives such as accommodation, medical benefits, etc., may be provided as per IIT Jodhpur norms and availability.
