Vacancies & Posts
- IBPS PO: ~5,208 vacancies across 11 public sector banks
- IBPS SO: ~1,007 vacancies (Specialist Officers roles such as IT, Law, Agriculture, HR, Marketing, Rajbhasha)
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduation in any discipline for PO, and specific degrees per SO cadre (e.g., LLB for Law Officer, Agriculture degree for AFO, etc.)
- Age Limit: 20–30 years for both PO & SO posts as of 1 July 2025, with age relaxations for OBC, SC/ST, PWD, etc.
Salary & Pay Scale
- PO Salary: In-hand pay ranges between ₹74,000–₹76,000 per month; basic is ₹48,480–₹85,920 plus allowances
- SO Salary: Scale I (JMG-I) – ₹48,480–₹85,920 depending on the post
Application & Fees
- Mode: Fully online via ibps.in.
- Fee Structure: ₹850 (General/OBC/EWS); ₹175 (SC/ST/PwBD) per vacancy
- Documents: Photo, signature, hand-written declaration, and eligibility proofs.
Selection Process:
Both PO and SO recruitments follow a three-tiered selection:
- Prelims – Online objective test (qualifying only).
- Mains – Objective + Descriptive (for PO) and Professional Knowledge (for SO).
- Interview –
for POs only(SO has professional knowledge + interview)
Final merit list based on Main + Interview (PO: 80:20 weightage). No Prelims marks in final scoring.
