Vacancy Details
IOCL is recruiting Engineers/Officers (Grade A) in the following engineering disciplines:
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
(Additional disciplines may be listed in the detailed notification.)
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a B.Tech/BE or equivalent degree in the relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 65% marks (General/EWS/OBC-NCL) and 55% marks (SC/ST/PwBD) as per institute/university norms.
- Degree must be obtained as a full-time regular course from institutions recognized by AICTE/UGC.
Age Limit
- General/EWS: Maximum 26 years
- OBC-NCL: Relaxation of 3 years
- SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
- PwBD candidates: Additional relaxation as per government norms
Salary / Pay Scale
- Selected candidates will be placed in Grade A with a starting basic pay of ₹50,000/- per month.
- The pay scale is ₹50,000 – 1,60,000, plus allowances, HRA, medical facilities, performance-related pay, and retirement benefits as per IOCL rules.

Selection Procedure
- Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) in domain-specific subjects, reasoning, and aptitude.
- Stage 2: Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT)
- Stage 3: Personal Interview
- Final selection will be based on CBT + GD/GT + Interview performance and medical fitness.

Eligibility Criteria (Summary)
- Indian nationals only.
- Full-time B.Tech/BE in Chemical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (and allied fields).
- Minimum marks as per category (65% for General/EWS/OBC-NCL; 55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Maximum age 26 years (relaxations as per rules).
