Educational Qualifications
Qualifications vary by post (as per NIT recruitment norms).
Typical requirements include:
- Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in the relevant branch.
- Technical/Library/Students Activity Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Science, Engineering, Library Science, Physical Education, or relevant field.
- Personal Assistant/Stenographer/Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree with proficiency in computer operations, typing and shorthand as applicable.
- Technician/Senior Technician: Diploma or 12th with Science plus ITI in relevant trade.

Age Limit
- Upper Age: Usually 27–30 years for Technician/Junior Assistant and up to 33 years for Senior/Technical/Engineer posts (exact age limits will be as per the official detailed advertisement).

Salary
Salary will be as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix levels indicated above along with admissible allowances such as DA, HRA, and other benefits as per NIT norms.
