Pay Scale
- Specialist (E4 Grade): ₹70,000 – 2,00,000 (IDA scale)
- GDMO (E2 Grade): ₹50,000 – 1,60,000 (IDA scale)
Educational Qualification
- Specialist (E4 Grade): MBBS with MD/DNB in relevant specialty from a recognized institute by National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India.
- GDMO (E2 Grade): MBBS degree recognized by National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India.
Experience Requirement
- Specialist (E4 Grade): Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience (excluding internship).
- GDMO (E2 Grade): Freshers with MBBS qualification may apply; experience will be preferred.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 37 years (as on the last date of application).
- Age relaxation applicable as per Govt. of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Service & Posting
- Selected candidates can be posted at any NTPC project/station across India.
- They may also be placed at subsidiary/joint venture companies of NTPC.
Medical Standards
- Candidates must undergo a medical examination by NTPC’s medical board.
- Only those found medically fit as per NTPC’s standards will be considered.

- ₹300 for General/EWS/OBC (NCL) candidates.
- Exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates.
- Fee to be paid via online mode (Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card/UPI).
Selection Procedure
- Shortlisting based on educational qualification, experience, and eligibility.
- Eligible candidates will be called for interview.
- Final selection will be based on interview performance and verification of documents.
