Eastern Coalfields Limited Recruitment 2025: Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has released the official notification for the engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the session 2025–26. The recruitment is open for both Graduate and Diploma holders in various technical disciplines.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate Apprentices (PGPT): Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized university/institution.
• Diploma Apprentices (PDPT): Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized board/university.
• Minimum qualifying marks as per AICTE/UGC/State Govt. norms are applicable.

Age Limit

• The minimum age is 18 years as on the date of application.
• Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government rules.

Salary / Stipend

• Graduate Apprentices: ₹9,000/- per month (approx.)
• Diploma Apprentices: ₹8,000/- per month (approx.)
• The stipend will be directly credited to the Aadhaar-linked bank account of candidates through DBT.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must be registered on the NATS Portal (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme).
2. Applicants should have a valid Degree/Diploma certificate and final marksheet.
3. Aadhaar must be linked with the candidate’s mobile number and bank account.
4. Only fresh candidates (without prior apprenticeship training or job experience) are eligible.

Application Procedure

1. Candidates must register themselves on the NATS Portal (https://nats.education.gov.in).
2. After registration, applicants need to apply for Apprenticeship in Eastern Coalfields Limited through the portal.
3. Submission of self-attested copies of required documents (10th certificate, Degree/Diploma certificate, Aadhaar, caste certificate if applicable, bank details, etc.) is mandatory.
4. One recent passport-size photograph should be attached.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be made on the basis of merit prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in Degree/Diploma.
• Final allocation of training area will be decided by the General Manager (HRD), ECL.
• Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through their registered email and contact number (as per NATS portal).
