WBPDCL Recruitment 2025: Kolkata, September 2025 – The West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL), a Government of West Bengal Enterprise engaged in power generation, has released Employment Notification No.: WBPDCL/Recruitment/2025/03 inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals. The recruitment drive is for 74 posts on a contractual basis for its mining projects across West Bengal and Jharkhand.

Educational Qualification & Experience

Assistant Mines Manager

• Degree/AMIE in Mining Engineering (AICTE/UGC recognized).
• 1st/2nd Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency under CMR 1957/2017.
• Experience: 1–12 years in coal mines depending on qualification.

Welfare Officer

• PG Degree/Diploma in HR/IR/PM/MBA (HR)/Master of Social Work.
• Experience: Coal mining or industrial sector experience required.

Colliery Engineer

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (AICTE recognized).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years for Diploma holders; Supervisory Certificate preferred.

Junior Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)

• Diploma in respective branch of engineering (AICTE recognized).
• Experience: 5 years in relevant sector, with 3 years in coal mining.

Surveyor

• Diploma in Mining Survey Engineering with DGMS Surveyor’s Certificate.
• Experience: 1–5 years in mine surveying.

Salary / Monthly Remuneration

• Assistant Mines Manager, Welfare Officer, Colliery Engineer: ₹63,000 per month
• Junior Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical), Surveyor: ₹41,000 per month

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit: 55 years (as on 01.09.2025).
• Age relaxations applicable as per Government of West Bengal norms.
