State Bank of India Recruitment 2025: SBI has released its detailed notification for Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) for 2025. Applications are invited online only for vacancies across States/UTs. Key points below.

• Preliminary Examination: September 2025
• Main Examination: October 2025

Post & Nature of Recruitment

• Post: Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) – Clerical cadre
• Recruitment Type: Open market, State/UT-wise. Candidates can apply for one State/UT only and will have to be proficient in the local language of the State/UT opted. LLPT (local language test) will apply where required.

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University (as on 31.12.2025).
• Final-year/semester candidates may apply provisionally if they can produce proof of having passed the graduation exam on or before 31.12.2025 (date on the mark-sheet/provisional certificate will be treated as the date of passing).
• Matriculate Ex-servicemen with Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate (having completed at least 15 years of service) are also eligible, subject to meeting all other criteria.

Age Limit (as on 01.04.2025)

• 20 to 28 years (i.e., born not earlier than 02.04.1997 and not later than 01.04.2005, both days inclusive).
• Upper-age relaxations: OBC 3 yrs, SC/ST 5 yrs, PwBD (Gen/EWS) 10 yrs, PwBD (OBC) 13 yrs, PwBD (SC/ST) 15 yrs, Ex-servicemen as per rules, subject to a maximum age of 50 years wherever applicable.

Pay Scale & Salary

• Scale: ₹24,050–1,340/3–28,070–1,650/3–33,020–2,000/4–41,020–2,340/7–57,400–4,400/1–61,800–2,680/1–64,480
• Starting Basic Pay: ₹26,730 (includes two advance increments for graduates)
• Gross starting emoluments (Metro like Mumbai): ~₹46,000 per month (inclusive of DA and allowances at current rates). Perks like PF, pension (NPS), medical, LFC etc. as per Bank rules.

Eligibility & Other Key Conditions

• Apply for one State/UT only; no inter-state transfers in Junior Associates except as per Bank policy.
• Local Language Proficiency: If you haven’t studied the specified local language in 10th/12th, you must qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) after mains.
• SBI Trained Apprentices (engagement start on/after 01.01.2022 and one-year branch experience completed by 26.08.2025 with satisfactory conduct) get bonus marks of 5/200 (2.5%) added to mains aggregate.

Selection Procedure

Selection comprises Prelims → Mains → Local Language Test (if applicable).

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online) — 100 marks, 60 minutes

• English Language: 30 Qs, 30 marks, 20 min
• Numerical Ability: 35 Qs, 35 marks, 20 min
• Reasoning Ability: 35 Qs, 35 marks, 20 min
• Separate timing for each section; ¼ mark negative for wrong answers; no sectional cut-offs.

Phase-II: Main Examination (Online) — 200 marks, 2 hr 40 min

• General/Financial Awareness: 50 Qs, 50 marks, 35 min
• General English: 40 Qs, 40 marks, 35 min
• Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Qs, 50 marks, 45 min
• Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 50 Qs, 60 marks, 45 min
  ¼ mark negative for wrong answers; aggregate cut-off only (with relaxation for reserved categories).

Phase-III: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)

• Mandatory for provisionally selected candidates who haven’t studied the specified local language in 10th/12th. Minimum qualifying marks as decided by SBI.

Application Fee

• ₹750 for General/EWS/OBC
• Nil for SC/ST/PwBD/XS/DXS
  (Fee/intimation charges once paid non-refundable.)

2. Register and login; fill the application carefully.
3. Upload scanned photo & signature in the prescribed format.
4. Pay the fee online (if applicable) and submit.
5. Print/save the e-receipt and application form for records.
   (No change of category/state/other details permitted after registration. Communication is by email/SMS only.)

Examination Language & Centres

• Tests are offered in English and specified regional languages as per State/UT.
• Candidates choose a preferred exam centre, but SBI may allot a different centre if needed.
